Under the artistic direction of Judith Daniel, performances are scheduled
at various events throughout the year. In addition to local community festivals,
parades and charity events, the company has also performed at the Weinberg
Center for the Arts, The Baltimore Museum of Art, Towson Dinner Theatre,
Carnegie Hall, Disney World, and most recently Lincoln Center. Dancers are
selected based on strong technique, versatility and a positive attitude,
enthusiasm and dedication
to their work. The dance company provides an outlet for dancers interested
in additional performing opportunities and artistic growth through community
service. Open Auditions
are held yearly in September or October for ages 10 & up. Dancers
are not required to be students of Upper Falls Dance Academy, but must be
currently enrolled in a dance program and taking classes.
Each year during National Dance Week
the company performs at local schools, librarys, and other venues to heighten
the awareness of dance and its contributions to our culture. Dance benefits
the mind, body and spirit and through these efforts the company hopes to
spread the joy of dance throughout the community.
Mirage
Dance Company is a non-profit company and it does not charge for its services.
